This opened gate caught my attention while on a walk along the Spokane River in Spokane, WA. I played around in Lightroom to get the feel I wanted. After a few days of cold, below zero temperatures, and snow, the sun is out and things are suppose to warm up. Hope everyone has a great day.

How inviting! I feel as though I am being asked to come in check out a bit more of the grounds. But, the angle adds quite a lot of mystery. You have done all the right things to make me want more!.

And, it was such a simple shot, nothing fancy but something I saw. Converting it to black and white was what made it for me.

Monte, interesting photo and statement considering the recent reassignment and move…I suspect somewhere you’re stepping through that open gate. Have a wonderful weekend!

Yes, it s symbolic. New adventure. New fears. New excitement. I start another trip in the morning.

The B&W conversion is nice but the parallel
and diagonal lines is what draws me in. Nice.

You are right, Ken, these is much more than just the gate. Have a super weekend!

Hope there isn’t a TSA agent waiting on the other side of that gate. 😉
Other than that – I think it makes a great statement.

Wouldn’t surprise many of us as they are everywhere. 🙂
