Maggie loves to chase these guys and they always play her for the fool staying just on the other side of the tree. The car, in the background, made for an interesting double-take moment…a tree with taillights? 🙂

Yes, the taillights are a distraction but the shot was what I wanted. I could have waited just one second but I did not see it until I loaded it on the computer. If there is such a thing as reincarnation, I would like to check squirrels as my first choice. They seem to have so much fun. They sleep in swaying trees and play around with dogs. 🙂
