I’m in Nashville. After walking in my room last night, I ran a tub of hot water and soaked my tired body. Nice! I then proceeded to read a zillion emails and catch up on some blog commenting. I was too tired to venture out with a camera so here is an image from three years ago. It was taken at the airport where the family was waiting for a flight. I think it’s a touching moment. They both seem to be quite comfortable and relaxed, sort of like I felt after the soak.

Wonderful photo no mater when it was made. One of those very small but very special moments. There was certainly no down time between changing you home locations was there?

No, Earl, there was not much time. I have the next couple of day off then back in the air again. Once that is over I plan on heading to Phoenix to visit my parents. want to check up on them and maybe relax.

Monte, what a neat image! It certainly shows how someone can put their time to good use despite their situation.

Yes, and an intimate time for father and daughter.

Wow! What a great portrait. I’m sure that they would have loved this one and it would have gone right on their mantle somewhere to be cherished for years to come.
