“Sometimes I need
Mary Oliver
only to stand
wherever I am
to be blessed.”
This morning I drove out near the Arapaho Bend Natural Area and parked along Horsetooth Road to listen to the meadowlarks and red-winged blackbirds. Watched several red-tailed hawks perched atop old cottonwood trees searching out breakfast menu. I am posting this image because of the tree reflections in the water and the rising morning sun. Almost no wind gave the water a glass like look. Have a wonderful weekend!

What a wonderful view! Hope you have a good Easter holiday, however and wherever you spend it.

Thanks, Tom. I have had a good Easter Sunday. Went to a friends for breakfast, an egg and venison bake with veggies. Dang good! Hope you had a good Easter Sunday, also!

Catching up on some post reading, just wanted to say great quote… one to remember and repeat often and gorgeous photo. I admire your ability to write consistently every day, it take discipline but I imagine gets a little easier once you make the habit of it.

Thanks, Mark. Yes, I seem to post something almost every day. I take an image almost everyday and enjoy sharing those here. I also try to write something along with each post, whether it’s mine or someone else’s. Most often I write about what I have experienced.
One of the things I enjoy about your postings is the content. You seem to be disciplined in writing with much more thought, have opinions and ideas to share and cause me to spend more time thinking about opinions and ideas. You also write to educate so I read your posts because I wish to always be a student. Please continue that!!
