Rubber Legs

Good morning from Colorado. The COVID-19 numbers continue to rise while our temperatures begin to fall. Only expected to be in the high 40s today and not much better the next few days. Made myself Irish oats with raisins and pecans after quiet time. Noticed the sunlight and shadows on my kitchen counter and shot this image. Love the colors. The cocoa was a gift and sad to say not very good.

Took the car in for some work so have been without a car for three days now. Rode the bicycle to an eye appointment yesterday as it’s only two miles. I knew part of the ride was uphill but I did not know it was all uphill, a slow gentile rise all the way. Had rubber legs when I got there. Eye examine was good and will see them in a year.

Retired. Having fun with photography. Journal daily. Meditate daily. Learning haiku/poetry. Have a love for fountain pens.

The idea of Candy Cane Crunch Cocoa sounds interesting, but it’s too bad it doesn’t live up to the name. Cool looking container though!

Must be some major work if you’ve been without a car for a few days. Hopefully the bill won’t be a reflection. 😉

Kathy and I also passed our eye exams this week and see our doctor next week for our annual checkup. Good to get weighed before Thanksgiving!

    Stay warm out there!

Took the car in for transmission flush and change. Have noticed a slip or two and sometimes a clunk when it shifts gears. Turned out the rear drive shaft needed replaced. Already notice the difference. They repaired an oil leak a few months ago and found it was leaking once more. They fixed that and at no charge due to their oops. I will continue to use them. And, my legs have recovered! 😁
