Seattle Skyline

Seattle skyline along Harbor Avenue

This image of the Seattle skyline was taken near Alki Beach along Harbor Avenue. It is an indication of the type of weather we enjoyed in Seattle. There is no beach where I’m standing. The sandy beach is farther west but the traffic and people was terrible. Enjoy your Saturday.

Retired. Having fun with photography. Journal daily. Meditate daily. Learning haiku/poetry. Have a love for fountain pens.

Nice wide skyline shot, Monte, and no question about what city it is with the landmark Space Needle included. It appears you enjoyed exceptional weather for Seattle. But then I believe their weather has also been changing to be a little warmer and dryer than previous norms with the changes to the climate. Enjoy the rest of your weekend!

Thanks, Earl. Each day had clouds, where out here we can have days with not a cloud in the sky until late afternoon., nothing but blue. Yes, the climate is changing, affecting all places to some extent.

Although I’ve not been there, that’s certainly not the stereotypical Seattle skyline. Nice! Good to see that you had good conditions, at least on that day.

It’s been interesting to travel to a couple of popular destinations this summer. We had sort of expected things to be quiet, but no dice!
