“Have patience with everything that remains unsolved in your heart. Try to love the questions themselves, like locked rooms and like books written in a foreign language. Do not now look for the answers. They cannot now be given to you because you could not live them. It is a question of experiencing everything. At present you need to live the question. Perhaps you will gradually, without even noticing it, find yourself experiencing the answer, some distant day.”
Rainer Maria Rilke, Letters to a Young Poet

A great quote and one that I’ve found to be very true, in my experience. The answer seems to come when you can handle it, when you’ve grown enough. Also, chasing the answers, churning the waters, making them muddy, does nothing to help the situation.

Oh, so true, Paul! I do not enjoy cloudy waters or those who stir it up.

Lovely photo and great quote, Monte. Patience is under-appreciated.

Thanks, Tom!

Nice simple photo Monte. The universe just wants to be noticed so let us all just notice every bit of it. I’m not sure that the answers are all that important anyway.

Thank you, Cedric. I do take more notice as I’ve aged and in nature, love what I see.
