Yes! Now that’s the best way to start just about anything. Unfortunately since I drink my coffee black I never get to see these nice designs but hey, coffee is good any way it’s had 🙂

I don’t know of Alan Cohen but I do know of Leonard Cohen who goes great with a cup of coffee and who also said “The older I get, the surer I am that I’m not running the show.” 🙂

Leonard Cohen is right, at lest I know I’m not running any show. Alan Cohen is an author who has over 20 books out. I’ve never read any of them but resonate with some of his quotes.

And, we all have some kick starter to our day: a walk, exercise, quiet, reading, soaking in a bathtub, coffee, breakfast or whatever it is. One of my primary reasons for morning coffee or latte is the social aspect of it. That’s also a kick start for me.

A well done tulip would make a great start to any day, especially New Year’s Day. And what a great quote to go with it. We all have our means of expression, fortunately for us some people are able to do it with a latte!

Creating these wonderful designs in coffee is something I’ve never tried my hand at. I’ll admit I’m a little envious of those who seem to create them so effortlessly and it does add such a personal touch. I hope you have a great year in 2016, Monte.

Yes, it is an art form. I took a 20 minute latte art class with Derick. He is quite good and actually competes with it. While, mine do not look like any form of art. They tasted okay, but that was it. 🙂
