The way to think about photography is that the next frame you shoot will be the definitive one. Everybody takes one picture and says, ‘Well, I’ve got it.’ Take another one, and always believe that the one you haven’t taken will be even better.

John Shaw has had many words of wisdom, and I think that is one of his best. My favorite though is “don’t be late for work!”

I like that quote too, Tom! As I mentioned a few days ago, I’ve been late for sunrise lately due to Daylight Savings. I see it has been hot and humid out your way. Stay cool!

Thanks, Monte. Right now we’re in Michigan, where it’s been quite comfy. 55° this morning with a forecast high of 78°

Enjoy!

I definitely subscribe to this philosophy. It always takes me a while to ‘warm up.’ Beautiful flower.
Monte Stevens
I like that idea of “warming up,” Mark. Not sure I can say that when it’s ten degrees and the wind’s blowing. But I can at least think it. That’s a start, right?
Mark
Of course, metaphorically “warming up” – because much in the same way your cells don’t have instant-on heaters, I think neither does the firing of those neurons in your head. (depending on how much coffee you’ve had of course! 🙂 )

Thanks for tge laugh this morning! More coffee!
