Lovely shot and lots of truth!

I think that’s how you live your life.

As Paul commented, both a lovely shot and lots of truth. I love this red door, the brick and the flowers…looks like a place I could live. As to the quote, when much younger I use to race dirt bikes and I learned early on you naturally go where you focus your vision…it’s the same with your mindset and attitude.

Great comparison. One of the first things taught at a motorcycle riding course.

I find quite often that things don’t bother me when I decide not to be bothered. It’s my reaction to things that is the problem, not the things themselves.
And I caught that new camera reference, you rascal! ;). I’ve got a little something in my shopping cart waiting for the credit card to cycle and hopefully the next sale.

I’m liking it but man is it small. I consider it a good move just for the focusing ability compared to my X-E1.

That’s the one thing holding me back from pulling the trigger on the X-T1. By the time I add the grip and the thumb rest I’m afraid I won’t be any better off than with the 5D. Although there is still a huge difference in size and weight. Those excellent lenses are really small too….

I will be giving a report (s) on this camera as I go along. Most of this us about adjusting to it. Again, it’s the photographer.

What? A new camera? Shameful! LOL – Enjoy. I know that I enjoyed my new toy while in Europe. 😀 More on that later. 😉

I can’t say I agree with the quote but man, that red door has zing and I like that you placed it off-centre the way you did. That door in that light really makes a beautiful and welcoming entrance.
Monte Stevens
Not sure that’s the greatest discovery but a change of attitude is needed in our world. Like you, this door was captivating for me. And, the touch of light added to it. Thanks, Cedric!
