There for a reason…

“There are moments when troubles enter our lives and we can do nothing to avoid them. But they are there for a reason. Only when we have overcome them will we understand why they were there.”

Paulo Coelho

It is cold and the wind continues to blow this morning. Made my way to Pineridge Natural Area for the predawn colors. I watched as the wind scattered the ever changing clouds across the canvas sky. I felt within the sense of drama in nature as she constantly reshaped the clouds according to the wind’s whims. I’m now enjoying my mocha latte at Starry Night then will meet Mark for breakfast as he and I continue our fantasy quest of solving the world’s troubles. I say that with tongue-in-cheek as he and I realize changing the world always starts with ourselves. I feel I am finding that facing and overcoming troubles is much more of an adventure than just an unwanted task. In my past I had the tendency to run from them. Now there is more of a desire to learn from the lessons. Just facing them is a lesson. May you have a wonderful day, overcoming any and all problems while learning life’s lessons! Stay warm!

There are troubles and then there are TROUBLES. I’ve had quite enough of the latter over my lifetime. But, it is important to remind myself that I have survived the TROUBLES, though not without some scars. 😉

I believe some of those scars are marks of the lessons learned through troubled times. Even though I learned through those lessons I can easily repeat lessons. Thus another scar. I have also at times needed to remind myself that I survived those TROUBLES.

I should add that I’m in no way suggesting that I do not bear responsibility for some (most?) of my TROUBLES. I often leap before I look and the phrase “what’s the worst that could happen” has often failed to stop me. lol

LOL I can relate as I have a lot of responsibility for the big TROUBLES I’ve had in my life. Just admitting that possibility is our first big step. I honor and respect anyone who admits that and does something to change from the lesson. Have a super wonderful day!!

I hope you will publish your 10-point plan for solving the world’s troubles that you came up with out of your discussion with your friend.

LOL 😆 Wouldn’t it be nice if it was only a 10-point plan. I’m pretty sure there would be some who would want to change that ten point plan. Of course some would not even read it. Stay warm.
