At the heart of all photography is an urge to express our deepest personal feelings – to reveal our inner, hidden selves, to unlock the artist. Those of us who become photographers are never satisfied with just looking at someone else’s expression of something that is dear to us. We must produce our own images, instead of buying postcards and photo books. We seek to make our own statements of individuality.

Brrrrr! Kathy and I are in sunny Florida getting ready to board a cruise ship, of all things. Toured Kennedy Space Center today at a very comfy 80 degrees. Enjoy the frosty temps… we’ll be looking forward to them after a few days in Mexico! 😉

Now, I’m envious! It is much warmer this morning but overcast skies. Hope you enjoy the cruise and sunshine!!!!!

I have this site I go to called Photo Quotes where I can just browse or search with keywords. I also have read and enjoyed much of Galen’s writings. I resonate with his spiritual side and philosophical side, that constant inner exploring he did as well as climbing Mount Everest type of exploring. Hope you have a great Sunday!
