Wandering

“Yes: I am a dreamer. For a dreamer is one who can only find his way by moonlight, and his punishment is that he sees the dawn before the rest of the world.”

Oscar Wilde

Seem to be taking more predawn images because I am regularly waking early, my mind wandering, so I get up and begin the day. I slept well until about 4:00 am then half awake until I got out of bed. During these periods my mind becomes active with fantasizing and planning, rather than being in a dream state. May need a nap today. 😴Anyway, here is this mornings predawn from Pineridge Natural Area.

Retired. Having fun with photography. Journal daily. Meditate daily. Learning haiku/poetry. Have a love for fountain pens.

I think we’re keeping much the same rising hours, only offset by the time difference. I think of a sleep-in these days as anything past 4:30. 🙂 Of course, I have the motivational help of an older dog that can hold her water as long as she used to. Haha, but that could be said of me as well.

Thanks once again for the lovely morning photo. I hope you’re having a good week. Stay well!

I started to leave a comment and nearly drifted off. My cat Beau wants to eat every two hours and I can’t always fall back to sleep. Hence, I’ve been awake since 2:30 am. This is a fabulous capture of first light. Zzzzzzz🥱

Well, you and Earl have animals to point fingers at and blame, I don’t. Seems I have 2-3 nights a week where a good nights sleep is difficult to hold on to. I’m not much for naps but do take periods of quiet and silence that help me. I’ve also just gotten up at 3:00 am to journal 🙃
