Warm Socks

It was 36 degrees this morning at 6:15 am. I consider that cold, so I layered my clothing. I wore some nice warm socks with my sandals. Wind blew hard early today, allowing us to enjoy our Colorado blue skies. This afternoon the winds died down and the smoke moved back in, no more blue skies. This is not the new normal!!

Retired. Having fun with photography. Journal daily. Meditate daily. Learning haiku/poetry. Have a love for fountain pens.

I chuckled when I saw the title of this post but somehow knew exactly what you were referring to. We’ve got “relatively” cooler temps headed our way later this week. Although no snow in the forecast (yet).

We washed out most of the dust, bugs and soot from the Subie yesterday and hope to keep it that way for at least a few more days. 🙂

I’m a sucker for colourful novelty socks. I’m wearing sharks on mine today 🙂
I consider anything below 77ºF to be getting on the chilly side so, 36º would feel absolutely freezing 🙂

Well, we’re a warm 42 degrees this morning so still cold for you.

Sharks! Now those would be kool. Of course that’s what us kool people do. I have a pair of blue socks with large yellow rubber duckies. They look great with my Teva sandals.
