What we don’t yet see

“The great transition of our times, of all times,
is to see what we don’t yet see.”

Paula D’Arcy

The sun shines brightly this morning. The air is brisk, laying down a thin blanket of frost, so typical of an early spring morning. As I walked up to the coffee shop, squirrels and birds were joining in a celebration of this new day. Brought a smile to my face! I placed my hand on the door handle but did not open it. Instead, I listened and watched the world before me. I needed to see what I don’t yet see. Hoping you have a wonderful Sunday!

Retired. Having fun with photography. Journal daily. Meditate daily. Learning haiku/poetry. Have a love for fountain pens.

Wonderful image, Monte. I suspect it’s something you haven’t seen there yet, but hopefully, soon will. Have a great day.

Monte, I can’t thank you enough for sharing the beauty and intimacy of the world around you, as well as your lovely poems which both comfort and stir my heart and mind. Your photography is amazing!! The word pictures you paint of those precious moments in Creation take me there with you. When I am able to be up at dawn to watch the sunrise through my kitchen window, I greet you, knowing that you are likely sitting with the same beauty just so many miles south and east. I am so very grateful for this gift of your blog, and for your lovely friends with their insights and happy comments too. Blessings All.

Thank you, Geri. I will now know you are also there with me in spirit at each sunrise or sunset we both greet. I am also thrilled to know you enjoy these images and words I share. That encourages me to offer more. There was a time when I was afraid and embarrassed to share both my image and my words. Most of that changed when I realized both are given to me so I can share them with others. Have a wonderful day!!!
