I read somewhere about an exercise where we needed to focus on seeing subjects within 15 feet of our bed. So on a rainy day it seemed as good a day as any and we had nice diffused light. There was more to see but three images is enough to bore you.
This exercise could also be an ongoing project. Just thinking, yes I know that’s dangerous, that maybe setting aside one day a month or a week and look around my room to see what presents itself.

Monte: It’s a good exercise for me. I love looking around my living room, especially in the evening as the sun is setting. All kinds of nice shadows present themselves. We do enjoy looking at light, regardless of where it is shining. Have at it! 😀

I’ve known about this but probably the first time I made it happen, at least in my bedroom.

I “mess around” with photos of light fixtures and salt & pepper shakers to test things but never take them seriously. Maybe I should start!

LOL Maybe we just should more often.

Nice result Monte. That first image has me thinking that my shirts are rather boring 🙂
Like Paul, I’ve always liked the play of late afternoon or early morning light and shadows on furniture and various objects around the home.

The shirts can be found at the local thrift store, cheap too. 🙂

I’m sad to say that I only have 2 shirts that have collars. I wore one once.

And probably looked dapper.

I gave up suits and ties years ago but my work requires me to wear collared shirts. I’m dreaming of the day when I can give them up too. Except maybe for a couple of Hawaiian shirts. Every wardrobe needs a Hawaiian shirt or two 😉
