This was taken in the hotel lobby in Dallas. The back of the lobby is a wide open room with a wonderful sky light in the center. As I walked by I noticed the light shining on these flowers sitting in the center of the room. It’s all about the light!

I love not just the light in this photograph, but also the way the flower flows across the entire photo. Earl is right, you do magic with ordinary items. Very nice.

@Mary Ann: Not sure about the magic but there does come a time when photographers really do look for the light then work it from there. We all do it!

@Ray: Yes, I think so. I would like to have met the person who placed them in that light. They saw it first.
