Yesterday, I posted an image of golden sunlight on prairie grass. That image was taken in the summer while this image was taken during winter. What a difference color temperature makes with the feel of a scene.

Yes! Quite a difference. The cool/cold blue here really makes the image. When I saw the title, I immediately thought: Ice! In April? Why did he move back to CO? 😉 Glad that this wasn’t a current picture!

It seems like I’m not shooting as much and mostly because I’m not being settled in yet, thus posting an image from the archives. I must admit the temperature this morning is a nice brisk 36 degrees.

Thanks, Mark. I did cool this image down a bit in LR but very little. Sometimes I hit the auto button on the white balance just to see what LR comes up with. It cooled it down even more so I brought it back up.

Monte, I’ve been a little lax in my blog reading and commenting…some nonsense about having to manage my time between working and yard work at home now that spring is here. 🙂
This “cool” photo and the “warm” one in the previous post are both beautiful seasonal interpretations and contrast nicely with each other. Lovely work!

I’ve been lax also and even in my posting. I blame it on work, moving, work, eating, work, training and work. I feel at times compelled to post on a daily basis and read my favorites on a daily basis, which is not what I want. Our blogs need to be a way to express our thoughts, ideas and vision. We all read when we can and post when we can.
