Looking back over the archives is an interesting way to see where I’ve grown as a person as well as a photographer, or not, and remember the places I’ve visited. But as I wander back in memory I’m sure I would not experience this coastal sunset the same way as I did in 2003. At this time in my life I would spend more time listening to the waves, smelling the salty air and maybe never need to take a shot. However it now has me dreaming about a trip to the coast.

I’ve been planning to see where I would like to go, Oregon coast of Washington coast. Now suppose you’ll say do both.

I have actually wanted to go to Oregon’s coast for years. I think it would be hard to do both in one trip. I suppose we have to save something for later, right? I don’t think you can go wrong with either one.

That is beautiful scenery Monte. Sea and sky like that is pure magic for me. I’m fortunate (and grateful) that I live a mere forty minutes from some beautiful beaches though being on the East coast, it’s sunrises that I witness rather than sunsets.
I hope your trip to the coast will come soon.

Thank you Cedric. I’m 20 minutes to the mountains and 20 minutes to the grasslands so I’m grateful in that respect. Maybe that is a reason the coastal areas are so appealing to me.
