Time On Campus
Architecture, Colors, Patterns, Art and People I enjoy spending time on campus at Colorado State University. The campus is just a few blocks from my condo, an easy walk, bike ride or a short bus ride to the transit center on campus. I use the library for quiet time to read and write. There are three little coffee shops on campus, one in the library and two in the Lory Student Center. There are images everywhere when you look: architecture, colors, patterns, art. And, what a place to watch people, mainly young students, as they move from class to class. And, if your into fast food you’ll think you’ve d moved on to heaven.

Cool Mailbox
Mailbox at a fly fishing shop Monday was an Estes Park day. I drove up the canyon and spent some time wandering the streets, in and out of shops. Found a coffeehouse and enjoyed a mocha along the Big Thompson Riverwalk. I enjoyed a lunch at a small Mexican restaurant. It was a be-good-to-me day.

Skyline in the Alley
I’m impressed with the artistic ability of people and where we can find it. I found this mural behind a restaurant/bar. I’ve walked by it a hundred times but for some reason I saw it differently on this particular day.

A Spring Day
Afternoon starburst at Arapaho Bend Natural Area 
Starburst What a beautiful day we had yesterday. Actually the whole weekend was all about Spring. I took a walk out at the Arapahoe Bend Nature Area. People were out walking the dog, riding bicycles and fisherman all along the banks of ponds. I talked one fisherman and he was a grinning and bragging about the bass and perch they were catching.
