or an animal unless I absolutely need a ‘record shot’.
My first thought is always of light.

Is the photo of the actual Smoky Mountains NP? Or is this in your neck of the woods? (pun intended) Either way it looks magnificent.

Yes, it’s from the Smoky Mountains back in the fall of 2013. That’s the only visit I’ve made to the park. It is quite the place to see. Hope to go back someday!

Yes, I imagine the park will be crowded. Also true out here as this is the beginning for campers to break out of town, heading for the hills.
