This is an HDR image made from Lightroom Classic using their image merging tool. Now that I have the current Lightroom with HDR I decided to try Adobe’s version. I am much more impressed with it than I expected. The images have a more realistic look than with Silver Efex Pro 2. I’ll be using this more often.

Oh, that’s nice, Monte. The fence provides a nice balance and the colors are great without looking HDR-ish. You may just force me to get back into trying HDR again! 🙂

I think it does a good job for me. I do not like some of the stuff I’ve seen people create. I want to use it to bring out some detail in the shadows, coming closer to what our eyes can see. I’ve had fun going back and playing with some of older images with the newer software and more knowledge.
