Cooler weather is in the forecast and I’m okay with that. Fall is one of my favorite seasons. I will be on the road this coming week as my sister and I drive to Texas on Wednesday for mom’s graveside service and drive back on Friday.

Smoke is reaching us even over here in Michigan, though not to this extent. But I do crave some cooler mornings as it has been quite hot and humid here, even at 7 am when doing dog walks.

I saw a map showing how far east the smoke has gone. Sheesh! Maybe, you need to get the dog out at 6:00 am. 😂
