In order for the world to become peaceful, people must become more peaceful. Among mature people war would not be a problem – it would be impossible. In their immaturity people want, at the same time, peace and the things which make war. However, people can mature just as children grow up. Yes, our institutions and our leaders reflect our immaturity, but as we mature we will elect better leaders and set up better institutions. It always comes back to the thing so many of us wish to avoid: working to improve ourselves.

It’s going to be in the high 90’s today. May you have a wonderful day!

Magnificent photo! The perspective of Creation coming towards me is breathtaking. I have just sat here and allowed it to come into and fill me. Thank you, Monte. For a long time I have prayed to be a pool of peace to absorb the chaos around me, but I have allowed the chaos to consume my peace. Thank you for this reminder and course correction, Monte. As you can see, I have even been allowing “The Busy” to keep me away from these precious morning moments of peace with your art and all of you. I pray that I am back now. I need this space to remind me of Truth, Hope and Goodness. Blessings all.

Good morning, Geri. I believe you are among many people in the world who want and even work towards peace in their lives and the world. I also allow the chaos of our world to consume my peace and serenity. When I am not present and consumed by thoughts I lose the awareness of my situation. I like the idea of pausing throughout the day, taking deep breaths, saying thanks for just being alive, and take in the beauty of the world I am as part of. And, for me coming back to the present is always a moment of peace. I hope you two are well and thanks for stopping by and leaving comments!
