With the time change my morning ride to the coffee shops will be safer since there is more light. It was a much warmer morning than yesterday, even though there was frost, so I rode the Spring Creek trail to coffee and back. That is also a safer ride, primarily free of all traffic. My traffic this morning was this buck. I stopped and tried to start a conversation but he would have none of it. However, he didn’t seem to mind sharing the trail. I hope you have a great Sunday!

Yes, he does look pretty healthy. It has been a beautiful fall day, blue skies and sunshine. I did hear that a friend of over 20 years died of cancer yesterday. He helped me when I was in a pretty bad place. I’m glad he is no longer suffering.

Sorry to hear about your friends passing, but I do believe the quality of life always needs to be considered and that sometimes it’s an act of love and mercy to just let go. I wish our society was a little more considerate it this way.
