This robin was quite busy as it made several trips gathering worms a couple days ago. I never saw them fly away without a beak full of worms so I assume there was a nest nearby with hungry nestlings. I am heading out to have brunch with my youngest grandson at a place called Snooze. Enjoy your Sunday.

No doubt it’s a full time job for even two birds to keep those hungry mouths fed. Luckily, those baby birds seem to mature pretty quickly and then they are on their own in finding the next meal. Unlike us humans, the young don’t later return to the nest looking for handouts. 😉

I read where the young need to eat about every 15-20 minutes. Talk about lots of work. And, you are correct that they do not return to the nest. LOL
