I hope you had a good day yesterday and today as well, Monte. Seems like most of yesterday was spent either eating or waiting to eat. I wonder if first Thanksgiving attendees felt the same way: perhaps they were just hoping there was going to be something to eat. 😉 Interesting photo above. Was the yellow tint and fogginess from wildfire smoke or did it just happen to be that way?

Yes I did have a good day. I took some morning photos of the predawn sky then headed for a coffee shop. I came home and made it a day of solitude. I ate some of that leftover chili soup, did a lot of reading, and some journaling. I had a couple of invitations to go over indulge, but I turned them down. I will meet a friend of over 20 years later this afternoon for lunch. I have also wondered how the early settlers and the indigenous tribes managed it?

I realized I failed to answer your question. Yes, the photo was taken during a fire season and they were burning in the area. However, I did warm the image up in Lightroom just a skosh: plus 5.
