Silence is the lost art in a society made of noise.

We were at 14 degrees this morning at about 5: 45 am. We did warm up to 42 degrees. I am not complaining as I’m aware most of our nation is in a cold spell. It’s been a good day. I made it to Mugs for coffee this morning then had lunch with my friend Duane. I’ve spent the rest of this day at home practicing the art of silence. This sunrise image was taken a year ago at Pineridge Natural Area where I go to experience more silence. I hope you had a wonderful Monday.

Weather here was a mixed bag today. This morning was foggy, drizzily and rainey but fairly mild. Then this afternoon it cleared and the wind picked up and temperatures begain to drop. Lows tonight will be around 26 with a feels-like of closer to 20. Highs tomorrow of 43, so it sounds like our tonight and tomorrow weather will be close to your yesterday and today weather. We took down our inside Christmas decorations over the weekend but still have outside decorations and lights up. They will come down New Years Day, weather permitting. Lovely sunrise at Pineridge!

Yes, it’s really cold for Mark and Joe. I also saw where you were going to be cold. But then again, it’s winter. Enjoy the mixed bag!!
