I think the key is learning to preserve the lessons of both, the light and the shadow, find a balance much like in photography. Personally, I have to say some of my most powerful lessons or truths were gained during those darker times of my life.

Yes, we do find pearls in both the shadows and the light in our lives. Sometimes it has taken time to find the pearl in some of those darker moments. I hope you two had a wonderful weekend!
