As Thoreau so well knew, and so painstakingly tried to show us, what a man most needs is not a knowledge of how to get more, but a knowledge of the most he can do without, and of how to get along without it.
Wendell Berry
I am learning that and how to simplify! I just don’t need all the stuff I have.

Great photo and such vibrant colors, Monte!
It’s about a state of mind and finding a balance that allows one to build a stable and healthy (mentally, emotionally and physically) life. Bonnie and I have accumulated more things since we quit RV’ing but they don’t hold the importance they did before the experience we had of selling almost everything and traveling lighter.

Thanks, Earl! I’ve been in a slow process of simplifying my life over the last few years. It’s a slow process, not quite what you and Bonnie went through when you two let go of so much. It’s easy to let go of things and then find out sometime later how you’ve collected more. It’s a process for me. It will probably take all my life. I hope you guys have a wonderful weekend!
