Free Concert in Old Town
Free Concert in Old Town While in Old Town Square this past weekend I came upon this father and his daughter in concert. They were blowing on this kazoo sort thingies. He was playing the piano and she was pounding the keys, totally oblivious to everyone around them. It was awesome. Well, to be honest they could use a little more practice together. 🙂

Starbursts Over Coffee and Conversation
Starbursts over coffee and conversation I just had to shoot this image. There is no theme or real story but I liked the scene. As I walked towards these guys I saw the starburst reflection in the window and knew this was what I wanted. As a bonus I got the second starburst. Happy photographer for a short period of time.
I have all my appointments setup for surgery and the followup stuff. They have a computer system setup for patients to see what all is going on with medications, appointments, surgery and test results. I created an account this morning. Quite impressed as it has it all. It shows all my doctor appointments, my ER visit and what they did, my upcoming surgery and the surgeons who will be assisting. I’m impressed. I couldn’t see where they had my banking account number but suspect they have it. 🙂

It Was a Scorcher
Shadows are following you The temperature rose above 40 degrees yesterday. After more than a week of high temperatures below freezing and nighttime temperatures in the single digits, people were out without jackets, riding bicycles and spending Christmas gift certificates. I just happened to be out on the streets of Old Town with my X-E1 and the 27mm lens. People casting shadows are what I found.

Lights in Old Town Spent time in Old Town area for a ĺook at the lights. My hands were cold by the time I returned home. But, made a hot chocolate as the images downloaded. All is good.

Little Bluebirds On my walk this past weekend I found these bluebirds at the Little Blue Bird Bakeshop in Old Town.

Tremble Court
Passing Through Tremble Court Tremble Court is a small store in the Old Town Square. Three walkways meet at the store’s front door, one being an alley. As I was walking through Tremble Court towards the square I noticed this woman walking towards the court from the alley. I walked past the three way intersection while composing an image in my head. I then stopped and turned to wait for her to pass through. She is coming from the direction of a homeless shelter and with her heavy bags I assumed her to be homeless. I took two images as she walked by. She was carrying what I assume to be all she had. Her body is stooped over due to a bad back, heavy bags or both. When I see homeless people who only own what’s on their back it causes me to realize all that I have.
