    But I’m learning

My adopted baristas: scheduling, ordering supplies, creating a newsletter, marketing, and smiling.

And I learned something from Mr. Theo.
God gave us faces so we can see each other better.
I used to not look at people’s faces so much.
    But I’m learning.

    Allen Levi, Theo of Golden

It’s a hot day here in Colorado, showing 92 degrees right now. Blue skies and sunshine dominate. A nice breeze blows through and cools it down while singing a song and dancing with the trees. Robins are singing, blue jays making their raucous calls, and the bumbling of the fountain in the pond. I hope you had the chance to look into someone’s face today and offer them a smile.

    Living in the moment…

The moons footprint in the sky

To live in the moment… is the onlyfootprint one must follow..

    Oglala Lakota- Hinhan Wakangl

After coffee and conversation with my friends Terri and Jeff I rode home via Spring Creek Trail. The moon set its footprint in a clear blue sky over the mountains in the west. It seemed to be happy! Because it was happy I couldn’t let the opportunity pass for a photo. Now, I was happy! I hope you have a great day and I see snow is falling up north now.

    It made me happy

I have never taken a picture for any other reason than that at that moment it made me happy to do so.

    Jacques-Henri Lartigue

There is about a one mile stretch along South County Road 5 that has maybe three or four places where you can see the Poudre River. The rest of this stretch of road is blocked by brush and trees. I like this specific location because it has a peaceful feel to it. The cows graze in their field of paradise, rich in green grass and the river quietly and gently meanders east onto the parched prairie. Friday was the first day of Fall and I could see and feel it… so stopping and taking a photo made me happy to do so. Have a wonderful Sunday!
