Meg’s rosetta from this morning
This morning I made my way to Mugs for this Old Town mocha and the blueberry scone, which is now eaten. The sunrise just before I left for the coffee shop was spectacular as the eastern sky was aflame in red and orange. I was too lazy to take a photo but just watched the miracle of it. This is a photo of Megs rosetta she made this morning. I hope you are enjoying your weekend, rain or sunshine.

We are seeing it running amuck in our politics, churches, corporations, professional sports, celebrities, the wealthy and the ideology of superiority.

Winter is back…
And I am talking about Winter, one of our baristas at Mugs on Laurel. She has been gone for three months to England through an exchange program at Colorado State University. This is the first Old Town mocha she made for me since her return. She still makes a good Old Town mocha and her latte art is pretty dang good too. Welcome back Winter!

Spending the year at my place…
This wood carved Santa has a story. My dad started carving this santa a few years ago but became discouraged with it and set it to the side. One year when Sheree and I were down in Gold Canyon he brought it out and we all started working on him, carving and painting, including mom. Once we were satisfied with how he turned out we decided to start a tradition where he gets passed along with one of us for the year. So each Thanksgiving one of us takes him for the coming year. So, Santa is spending the coming year at my place until next Thanksgiving.

and the practices they follow lead to the same goal.It is a beautiful day here in Colorado. with blue skies and sunshine dominating. After my quiet prayer and meditation time I rode the red steed to Mugs. I loved the ride along Spring Creek Trail, cool, invigorating and offering the freshness and exercise my body needs.
I am intrigued by mystics. I enjoy reading the mystics and who they are from the past the contemporary of today. They speak to me in a language of the heart rather than the head only. Mystics live the life of being whole, healthy and wanting peace in our world. They do not quarrel or they are not a mystic. May you have a good week!
