As I was about to leave my daughters house on Christmas eve, I found Cricket asleep on their bed near the woodstove. I guess it was just too exhausting. Hope everyone enjoyed the holidays.Â

Fletcher Fletcher’s a 12 week old puppy. His beautiful color and curiosity were an instant attraction for me. He was alert to everything around him through both sight and sound. His ears were always perked in anticipation to the next new sound and the wonder it would offer. And, those eyes of curiosity were constantly scanning, wanting to know and understand this enticing new world. I wondered, was it the color, the shape or the movement that drew his attention?

Waiting
Waiting I’ve watched this dog sit patiently as the owner stops in to get her coffee. Well this morning I approached the owner and asked if I could take a photo of her patient dog.it seems this dog waits in almost this same position each morning. The head is supported on the window with little movement while the eyes scan from side to side. No barking. It’s like there is a trust and belief she will return very shortly. So, I’ll just wait. 🙂
